On The Move - Again!
New Year's eve, we had a great time with Cheryl's family. There was food, booze, fireworks, a huge bon fire and fun. I even tried Boudin, but didn't care for it. I guess I don't have any Cajun in me!
Yesterday morning we met with Brenda & Roger (cruzgal on the Escapee's forum) for breakfast. Seems like we get to see them once a year - we go one way and they head another. Lucky them - they are going on a Caribbean cruise in a few weeks. At least they will know that it will be warm there.
After our breakfast, we came home, packed up and hit the road. We are now parked at Coushatta Indian Casino in Kinder, LA. This is such a clean, nice park and not expensive. They even have wi-fi available now along with full hook-ups and cable. A note - if your travels bring you here, be sure and take your Trailer Life Directory in with you when you register. They have an advertisement in it that states that you get one day free for each one you pay for. Maximum of five days free. Our cost was $17.00 for two nights!!! Hard to beat that.
Tomorrow we are heading for Livingston for one or two nights then on west. Looks like it may be a rainy drive - ugh.
Come back later for more..........
