Last Day at Big River

This morning we started out with a big breakfast in the clubhouse. Omelets, hashbrowns, ham, fresh fruit and pastries, along with coffee, tea and orange juice. Sooo good.

This afternoon we sat by the river watching some of the boat traffic. Seems the thing to do on this river is to see how fast a boat you can build. The boats are nothing special, not like the cigar boats that race, these are regular boats that have modified engines. They go pretty fast and are very loud. Here's a couple of pictures that I took.....

This evening we had burgers, hot dogs, mac salad and beans with Garry and Jenny. It sure has been nice getting to know them and we look forward to seeing them again somewhere down the road. What a great couple they are. Always smiling and welcoming.

Garry drove Dean and I down to the end of the park after we ate to get some sunset pictures. I managed to get several that turned out very good. Here are a few.....

Even though we hate leaving new friends, we know that there are many more new friends to meet and exciting places to visit just around the corner of the road and that we will connect with old friends again. Thanks Garry and Jenny for a great 9 days!
