the boat ride looks like fun but i'm a big chicken. we are going to the smokey mountains in september and i wanted to stay in the park(to maybe see bears) but the roads are bad driving a motor home on so this big chicken is staying outside the park. so take lots of pictures so i am imagine what it is like there.

Hi Janice and Dean..... Now you are in my territory. And isn't it beautiful? I spent every summer in Oregon. We saw the same elk last year and I know exactly where it is. We were there a little earlier last year on our way to Alaska and it was the Azalea Festival's at that time. Enjoy this beautiful area.

I tried to comment on the GP post where you showed my pic on the boat, LOL. I look a little off balance. I couldn't find the comment link there.
Ummm, note to ava. I'm a chicken too, I shut my eyes when we go down 6% or higher grades in the RV. You'll have a wonderful time, just don't have any honey or peanut butter around. hehe.
